Dr. Herreros is a bilingual (English-Spanish) Clinical Psychologist with 20 years of clinical experience. PhD in Clinical Psychology at the New School for Social Research, NY, and Clinical Post-Doctorate in NYPSI (New York Psychoanalytic Institute) and Williamsburg Therapy Group, NY. 

She currently resides in Santiago de Chile working with adults, adolescents and couples providing in site and on-line psychotherapy services, supplementing her clinical work at the Endocrinology Department at Clínica Santa María in Santiago, as well as teaching at Magister en Artes de la Salud y Arteterapia of the Universidad Finis Terrae.

Dr. Herreros begun her clinical practice 20 years ago in Santiago de Chile, after completing her undergraduate studies in Clinical Psychology at Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile. She worked as Clinical and Educational Psychologist before moving to New York to complete her studies and clinical training. After ten years she returns to Chile as a Licensed Clinical Psychologist in New York and Chile, where she resides. 

Dr. Herreros has clinical expertise in diagnosing and treating a great variety of issues, including depression and anxiety; grief, trauma and adjustment difficulties; gender identity and sexuality; and immigration and cultural issues. Her research focused on the development of attachment relationships, which are deep emotional relationships between human beings, and she considers this background informs her therapy when trying to deal with all aspects of intimate relationships.
